THE TOURNAMENT
SATURDAY 11TH OCTOBER
Finsbury Park
Hello Rabblers - we had some last minute news we've had to adapt to! Due to unforeseen damage to the pitch at the Athletics Track, we will no longer be playing at the track. Instead, we have now secured a permit to use Finsbury Park itself.
We still have exclusive use of the facilities at Finsbury Park Athletics Track - so please use the toilets, showers or changing rooms at any time from 9am.
We have also booked a secure Meeting Room at the track to store bags and valuables. As much as possible, please put your belongings in there rather than in the park*
Due to the last minute changes, we'll be setting up a big Rabble Marquee on the X on the map below, and playing in the big orange square.
The marquee will be in the following location: https://what3words.com/saying.indeed.food
Be ready to start by 10am. You can use the changing rooms at the track from 9am.
Nearest stations: Finsbury Park (National Rail, Piccadilly Line, Victoria Line), Manor House (Piccadilly Line), Harringay (National Rail and Overground)

What do I need to bring?
1. Packed lunch and snacks
2. Water bottle
3. Trainers and sports kit
4. Towel and shower gel if you want to use the showers at the venue.
5. Fancy dress is encouraged - coordinate this with your team!
We will be providing extra drinks and snacks, but please make sure you have food and water with you. There is a cafe in the park, but we highly recommend bringing your own food to avoid delays.
How does the tournament work?
As we have a record turnout this year and hope Rabble continues to grow, we are taking the opportunity to refine the tournament structure:
Introducing the Vortex Cup and the Golden Cone - with more details revealed on the day!
There will be prizes for both the Cup and the Cone, as well as prizes for the team with the Best Fancy Dress, and the Fairest Team - so play fair!
What are the rules?
The rules of each game will be explained on the day by your instructors. However, there are some general ground rules we have including:
1. Fair Play aka "Don't be a dick".
2. Take care of yourself and others.
At the end of the day, this is a tournament of kids games while wearing fancy dress! Take care, avoid injuries, try not to overdo it, and HAVE FUN!
By joining this tournament, you agree to abide by our Rabble Code of Conduct.
Will there be showers/changing rooms?
Yes, Finsbury Park Athletics Track has gendered showers and changing rooms that we have hired for the day. Remember to bring shower gel and towels if you want to use the showers. We have hired these from 9am - 3:30pm.
*While we will take every precaution to ensure the security of everyone's belongings, Rabble accepts no responsibility for lost valuables.
